Enemies : Humanoid
Most enemies in the main circles of Hell are humanoid and come from the malfunctioning Pods. They were, in fact, once actual humans, but being sent to Hell warped them into...other things. These enemies are usually sentient beings that speak common English, but on some occasions they can be mindless. For example: Ghouls, Shadows, and the Mutated are generally humanoid but they can't speak or think for themselves.
EXAMPLES: Ghouls, Voidkin, Shadows, the Mutated, lesser Demons, greater Demons, Dark Angels.
Enemies : Beasts
In the pits of Hell there are dozens of nightmarish beings, usually brought in from the Void for various reasons. They don't appear as frequently as humanoid enemies. Considered sub-bosses, they are ALWAYS powerful. Beast enemies can not be reasoned with and very very very rarely do they know how to speak.
EXAMPLES: Hellhounds, Berserkers, Ghasts, Ghosts, Imps, Lycans.
Lesser Demons
Sometimes humans are warped so badly that they became demons. If they mature long enough and continue warping, they become stronger young demons. These demons usually have a name and are usually a specific person. There are four types of young demons. They are as follows:
* Succubus/Incubus
* Elemental
* Shapeshifter
* Shadows
Greater Demons
When a lesser demon grows even more, they become a greater demon. They change in type and become much more powerful. Greater Demons are moved from Pods to holding chambers, where they are chained down. These demons are so varied that they can't truly be described. They can be considered mini-bosses.
Mysteries
Some things just can't be explained. Creatures of myth and legend, Mysteries are wanderers of Hell that have odd powers and are always neutral. If you are fighting a losing battle, a Mystery may help you out and suddenly disappear. If you are just wandering the halls, a Mystery may appear and offer you a deal. Mysteries are often times merchants. They come in all shapes and sizes and are the very definition of unusual.
